Description

Absa is offering a 12-month Human Capital Internship Programme aimed at developing skills and gaining valuable work experience in a corporate environment. The intern will provide administrative support to the Human Capital team, assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinate employee engagement and wellness initiatives, support learning and development activities, and participate in various HR projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Capital team
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with documentation
  • Coordinate employee engagement and wellness activities
  • Assist in learning and development tasks, including logistics for training sessions
  • Capture data and compile HR reports
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • A valid Degree or NQF Level 7 equivalent in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Valid South African ID
  • Clear criminal and credit record
